Eduarda began her career in 1991 as a lawyer at Daniel Proença de Carvalho’s law firm.
In 2009, Eduarda became a partner at Proença de Carvalho e Associados, and joined Uría Menéndez in 2010, when the two firms merged, where she worked for over 14 years.
Eduarda’s practice is focused on litigation, criminal law (domestic violence), family law, and inheritance, in which she specialises, having created the department for this specialty at Uría Menéndez – Proença de Carvalho.
Eduarda has been involved in many of the most important inheritance cases in Portugal, as well as in the most complex divorce, partition and parental responsibility cases for national and foreign clients.
Eduarda is a speaker at international seminars and conferences on subjects related to her areas of practice and collaborates regularly with the media and universities.
Eduarda was a member and Treasurer of the Lisbon Regional Council of the Portuguese Bar Association for three triennia.
